Azandra was born in 2001, which makes her 22 years old. She lives in the North-West region of Cameroon. Azandra lives with her grandmother. Her father was shot by a gunman during the Anglophone crisis, and sadly died. Azandra’s mother was badly injured by the same gunman. Before the attack, Azandra’s mother did some farming to take care of the family, but now is unable to farm or work at all.
Thanks to a generous donation from one of our existing sponsors, Azandra has just returned to school after many years out of education. She is now in Form 2 and will need a sponsor who will help her progress to Form 3 in September, and eventually achieve her dream of becoming a nurse.
Azandra’s favourite subject at school was biology. In her leisure time, she enjoys playing football. Her favourite colour is “lemon green” and she likes eating fufu corn.
Sponsorship will allow Azandra to continue school with all the stationery, exercise books, textbooks and uniform that she needs. Your help will also mean that Azandra can access healthcare if she is unwell, and receive nutritious food that will benefit her whole family.
If you sponsor Azandra, you will receive monthly reports. These reports will include photos of Azandra, and will inform you of what she has been doing and how your sponsorship money is being spent.
We have three levels of sponsorship, starting at £20 per month. Your help will change Azandra’s life and help her to have a more positive future.
