Christopher is a baby boy from Yaoundé in Cameroon's central region. Born on Christmas Eve 2023, he lives with his mother and older brother David in a single-room home. Christopher's father abandoned the family shortly after his birth, leaving his mother to manage all caregiving responsibilities and financial burdens alone. Though she works hard as a school cleaner, her modest salary cannot adequately support her two young sons.
 

Despite these difficult circumstances, Christopher is experiencing his first months of life surrounded by his mother's love and his brother David's companionship. At this early stage of development, Christopher is beginning to discover the world around him, with simple preferences already emerging—his favourite colour is red, and he enjoys rice-based meals adapted for his age.
 

The bond between Christopher and his three-year-old brother David is already an important aspect of their daily lives, providing both boys with valuable social interaction within their small home. As the younger sibling, Christopher benefits from David's presence and the early examples of play and communication his brother provides.
