David is a 3-year-old boy from Yaoundé in Cameroon's central region. Born in October 2021, he lives with his mother and younger brother Christopher in a single-room home. David's father abandoned the family, leaving his mother to shoulder all parenting and financial responsibilities alone. While she works diligently as a school cleaner, her salary is insufficient to meet the family's basic needs.

His favourite colour is blue, and he particularly enjoys meals with egg and plantain—a nutritious combination common in Cameroonian cuisine.
