Keila is eight years old and was born in May 2013. She lives in the Boyo region of Cameroon with her aunty. She has three brothers and sisters, all of which live at home with Keila’s mother.
Keila moved in with her aunt following her father’s death. He was killed by the military during the Anglophone crisis. Keila’s mother does subsistence farming which doesn’t bring in enough money to care for Keila and her brothers and sisters.
Keila enjoys school but has not attended for a year because her family can’t afford her school fees. Her favourite colour is blue and in her spare time, she enjoys dancing. When sh grows up, Keila wants to be a lawyer.
Sponsorship will allow Keila to have a better start in life and attend school. With your help, she can go to school with all the books, stationery and other equipment she needs. Your help will also pay for nutritious food for Keila and her family, access to healthcare if she is unwell, and other important basics such as clothing and toys.
If you sponsor Keila, you will receive monthly reports. These reports will include photos of Keila, and inform you of what Keila has been doing and how your sponsorship money is being spent.
We have three levels of sponsorship, starting at £20 per month. Your help will change life and the future for Keila and her family.
