Age: 11

Kelly was born in 2009 and lives in the Boyo region of Cameroon. She is in class 4 at primary school and her favourite subject is English.

In her short life, Kelly has experienced significant loss. After fleeing from conflict, Kelly's father tragically passed away. He fell ill and, due to fighting between the army and separatists in the Anglophone crisis, was unable to access a route to get to a hospital. Kelly's parents separated before her father died, and she currently has no contact with her mother. Kelly now lives with her paternal grandmother.

Kelly enjoys school and dreams of becoming a teacher so she can help her family.

Kelly’s favourite food is spaghetti and eggs, she loves the colour red, and in her leisure time, Kelly enjoys sewing.

Sponsorship will allow Kelly to attend school with all of the books, stationery and equipment that she needs. Your help will also pay for nutritious food for Kelly and her grandmother, access to healthcare for them, and other important basics such as clothing and books.

If you sponsor Kelly, you will receive monthly reports. These reports will include photos of Kelly, and will inform you of what Kelly has been doing and how your sponsorship money is being spent.

We have three levels of sponsorship, starting at £20 per month. Your help will change Kelly’s life and enable her to look forward to a better future.
