Pearl was born in 2018 in the Boyo region of Cameroon. Since the Anglophone crisis worsened in their hometown, Peal’s mother took Pearl and her brother Bill Bright to live in the city of Yaounde. Pearl’s mother would like Pearl to start school soon but she is unable to pay the school fees. Pearl’s mother has a small business selling bagged water, but this doesn’t bring in enough money to pay for her children’s education or enough food.

Pearl is a happy girl and enjoys dancing. She wants to be a doctor when she grows up.

Sponsorship will allow Pearl to have a better start in life and attend school without getting behind. With your help, she can go to school with all the books, stationery and other equipment she needs. Your help will also pay for nutritious food for Pearl and her family, access to healthcare if she is unwell, and other important basics such as clothing and toys.

If you sponsor Pearl, you will receive monthly reports. These reports will include photos of Pearl, and inform you of what Pearl has been doing and how your sponsorship money is being spent.

We have three levels of sponsorship, starting at £20 per month. Your help will change life and the future for Pearl and her family.

Pearl’s brother, Bill, is also looking for a sponsor. Please click here to see his profile.
