Age: 12

Phland was born in 2008 and lives in the Boyo region of Cameroon with his mother and three siblings.

Sadly, Phland’s father was recently killed by the military as a result of the Anglophone crisis. Phland’s mother does subsistence farming, so the family doesn’t have any real income for school fees or other basics for the children.

Phland isn’t currently attending school, but tells us that previously his favourite subject was maths. He also enjoys reading and playing with his friends, and loves the colour red. Phland dreams of becoming a doctor when he grows up.

Phland and his family desperately want him to find a sponsor so that he can continue his education and fulfil his ambitions.

Sponsorship will allow Phland to attend school with all books, stationery and other equipment he needs. Your help will also pay for nutritious food for Phland and his family, access to healthcare her if he is unwell, and other important basics such as clothing and books.

If you sponsor Phland, you will receive monthly reports. These reports will include photos of Phland, and inform you of what Phland has been doing and how your sponsorship money is being spent.

We have three levels of sponsorship, starting at £20 per month. Your help will change life and the future for Phland and his family.

Phland’s brother, Goodwill, is also looking for a sponsor. Please click here to see his profile.
