Kasia was born in 2013 and lives in Bamenda, which is in an English-speaking region of Cameroon. Kasia was born in Belo, but she, her three brothers and sisters, and her mother later relocated to Bamenda because of the Anglophone crisis. Kaisia’s mother is unmarried and unemployed, so does not have a stable income.
Kasia was in school until recently and was doing well. However, to register for Class 6, which is the final year of primary school, costs more than previous years as children have to take their common entrance exams. Kaisia’s mother was unable to afford the exam registration fees, so was forced to withdraw Kaisia from school.
Sponsorship will allow Kaisia to return to primary school, sit her final year exams, and then hopefully progress to secondary school. With your help, she will also have all the books, stationery and other equipment she needs.
Kaisia is a lively, intelligent, friendly young girl. Her favourite subject is Maths and she loves reading. When she grows up, she hopes to become a pilot. Her favourite food is fried rice and her favourite colour is pink.
If you sponsor Kaisia, you will receive monthly reports. These reports will include photos of Kaisia, inform you of what she has been doing, and detail how your sponsorship money is being spent.
We have three levels of sponsorship, starting at £20 per month. Your help will change life and the future for Kaisia and her family.
