Abigail was born in 2019, and is currently five years old. She lives in Bamenda, which is in the English-speaking region of Cameroon, with her mother and brother. Last year, Abigail’s father was tragically killed in a car accident, leaving her mother as a single parent. Her mother sells groundnuts for a living, but this only brings in a very small income and she is unable to support Abigail through school.

Abigail needs a sponsor to help her start school with her fees fully paid to allow her the opportunity to complete her education on time. Abigail loves eating rice and her favourite colour is red. She loves to sing. Abigail tells us she really wants to become a teacher when she is older.

This is a great time for Abigail to find a sponsor, as she will be able to begin her education without the interruptions that so many of our older children have had. Sponsorship will allow Abigail to attend school with all books, stationery and other equipment she needs.
