Eliand was born in 2008 and lives in Bamenda, which is in an English-speaking region of Cameroon. Eliand’s father sadly died, leaving her mother to take care of her and her eight brothers and sisters.
Eliand’s mother does subsistence farming, which doesn’t bring in enough money to send the children to school. She also struggles to feed the children, so Eliand lives with her aunt in Bamenda.
Eliand is in Form 1, which is the first year of secondary school, and her favourite subject is Office Practice. When she finishes school, Eliand would like to become a tailor. She likes the colour yellow and eating corn fufu. In her spare time, she enjoys singing.
Sponsorship will allow Eliand to continue school with all the books, stationery and other equipment she needs. Your help will also pay access to healthcare if Eliand is unwell, and other important basics such as clothing.
If you sponsor Eliand, you will receive monthly reports. These reports will include photos of Eliand, inform you of what she has been doing, and detail how your sponsorship money is being spent.
We have three levels of sponsorship, starting at £20 per month. Your help will change life and the future for Eliand and her family.
