Markdeline

Age: 11

Markdeline was born in 2012 and lives in Belo, which is in the Anglophone part of Cameroon.

Markdeline lives in Belo with her mother and six siblings. Her father sadly died leaving her mother to take care of all seven children. Markdeline’s mother does subsistence farming, which doesn’t bring in an income. She struggles to take care of her children.

Markdeline is currently in class 4 at primary school. Her favourite subject is maths and when she’s older, she wants to become a teacher. Markdeline’s favourite colour is red and she likes eating corn fufu. In her free time, she enjoys singing and playing with her friends.

Sponsorship will allow Markdeline to continue school with all of her fees paid and with all of the books, stationery and equipment that she needs. Your help will also pay for nutritious food for Markdeline, access to healthcare if she is unwell, and other important basics such as clothing.

If you sponsor Markdeline, you will receive monthly reports. These reports will include photos of Markdeline, and will inform you of what Markdeline has been doing and how your sponsorship money is being spent.

We have three levels of sponsorship, starting at £20 per month. Your help will change life and the future for Markdeline and her family.
