Noel is a 14-year-old student from Belo in Cameroon's Boyo region. He currently lives with his aunt, who has taken on the responsibility of caring for him alongside her own children. After losing his mother at age 5 and being separated from his uncle during a period of regional instability, Noel has experienced some interruptions in his education. His aunt's health has been declining recently, making it increasingly difficult for her to afford school fees and other necessities for the household.
Despite these challenges, Noel maintains a positive outlook. He particularly enjoys his history classes and has developed an interest in engineering—a field he hopes to enter one day with the right educational foundation. When not studying, Noel likes playing football with his friends to relax and also enjoys dancing—you can see his enthusiasm in the video from the Children of Cameroon Easter Party 2025 included on this profile. He enjoys meals with rice, and his favourite colour is red. When celebrating special occasions, Noel's favourite way to mark the day is by eating his favourite rice dish and wearing a new outfit.
Looking to the future, Noel has clear goals. In ten years, he hopes to have finished his education and be doing something meaningful to help society. He's particularly interested in learning construction skills, which align well with his engineering aspirations.
Your sponsorship would ensure Noel can attend school consistently with all the required materials—uniform, textbooks, and stationery. Beyond education, your support would help provide nutritious food for Noel and his household, as well as access to healthcare when needed. These basics make a significant difference in creating stability for Noel's daily life.
We keep our sponsors connected through monthly updates that include recent photographs and reports on Noel's activities and progress. You'll see how your contribution directly supports his development and well-being. With sponsorship options beginning at £25 per month, you can help Noel build toward his engineering aspirations while addressing his immediate needs.
