Victory is an 8-year-old girl from Bamenda, in Cameroon’s Northwest region. Born in 2016, she will turn 9 this September. She currently lives with her aunt and three siblings, following the loss of her mother to a long-term illness. After her mother’s passing, Victory was sent to live with her aunt in Bamenda, where she has found stability—but financial support remains a major challenge. Her aunt runs a small tomato-selling business, but it is not enough to meet all of Victory’s educational needs.

Despite the difficulties she has faced, Victory is a bright and conscientious child. She recently completed Class 4 with an impressive annual average of 15.3 out of 20, and hopes to enter Class 5 this September—if she receives the support needed to continue.

Victory’s favourite subject is Maths, and she enjoys eating rice. Her favourite colour is orange. She dreams of becoming an engineer one day.

This is a vital time to support Victory. Unlike many older children in the region whose education was severely disrupted by the ongoing Anglophone crisis, Victory still has the opportunity to complete her schooling on time. With sponsorship, we can ensure she stays on track. Your support would cover her school fees, learning materials, uniform, clothing, and access to healthcare. It would also help provide nutritious food for Victory and her family.

Sponsors receive monthly updates, including photos and progress reports, so you can follow Victory’s journey closely. With sponsorships beginning at just £25 per month, your support could help Victory continue her education uninterrupted and take steady steps toward the future she dreams of.
