Philand was born in 2007 and lives in the Boyo region of Cameroon with his mother and three siblings.
Sadly, Philand’s father was recently killed by the military as a result of the Anglophone crisis. Philand’s mother does subsistence farming, so the family doesn’t have any real income for school fees or other basics for the children.
Philand is in Form 3 of secondary school, but without a sponsor, he won’t be able to continue to Form 4. Philand’s favourite subject is maths. He also enjoys reading and playing with his friends, and loves the colour red. Philand dreams of becoming a doctor when he grows up.
Philand and his family desperately want him to find a sponsor so that he can continue his education and fulfil his ambitions.
Sponsorship will allow Philand to continue school with all books, stationery and other equipment he needs. Your help will also pay for nutritious food for Philand and his family, access to healthcare her if he is unwell, and other important basics such as clothing and books.
If you sponsor Philand, you will receive monthly reports. These reports will include photos of Philand, and inform you of what Philand has been doing and how your sponsorship money is being spent.
We have three levels of sponsorship, starting at £20 per month. Your help will change life and the future for Philand and his family.
